Nancy Philippart
Nancy Philippart is a General Partner and co-founder of Belle Michigan. She also serves as the Executive in Residence for the Engineering Ventures program at Wayne State University where she works with student and faculty entrepreneurs and teaches in the college. She is a consultant to new business ventures and is currently on the advisory boards of several start-up companies in Southeastern Michigan. Nancy has over 30 years of experience as an engineer and executive in the automobile industry. Most recently, she was Executive Director, GM Accessories, a $1 billion plus General Motors Corporation new venture that helps sell vehicles and grow corporate profits by enabling vehicle personalization at point of sale. She has extensive experience in international management and operations, product development, strategic planning and new venture start-ups. Nancy serves as chair of Wayne State University’s Industrial and Systems Engineering Advisory Board, is a member of Wayne State Engineering College Board of Visitors, Board Chair of the Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan and was elected President, Troy Board of Education. She has been recognized by Automotive News (Top 100 Women in Auto Industry) and the YWCA (Corporate Woman of Achievement) for her career achievements.
